The Story
Empire Residential purchased a seven building portfolio consisting of 160 residential apartment units, through Auction.com in 2012. The properties were under foreclosure at the time of purchase. Upon purchase, the properties then underwent a major interior and exterior renovation, including mechanical upgrades, apartment renovations, lobby renovations, landscaping and window replacement. The properties were then successfully sold together as a large residential portfolio in 2018, together with other similar properties owned by Empire Residential, totaling 14 buildings, and 445 residential apartments.
